- Granite Investigative Solutions, LLC was founded by Brian Alvarez, after a lifelong career (35 years) dedicated to public service as a California Law Enforcement professional and as a FBI Special Agent/Supervisor who has managed complex and challenging threats and investigations to the security of our national and local interests.
- Upon retirement after 24 years as a FBI Special Agent/Supervisor, Mr. Alvarez has a proven record, investigative experience, and expertise related to domestic and international operations with Federal, state, and local law enforcement.
- Mr. Alvarez' experience is diverse and specialized such as; violent crimes, transnational gangs, major drug trafficking organizations, kidnappings, bank robberies, interstate thefts, crimes against children, undercover operations, Joint Terrorism Task Force Coordinator (JTTF), international/domestic terrorism, bomb technician/explosives (assigned to Afghanistan on a Counter IED Task Force with US Military), SWAT team leader, Major Special Events, Sports Rep/Liaison, SWAT EMT, Crisis Management, Active Shooter/Threat Assessments, Critical Incident Response, and ended his career the last 10 years as a FBI Polygraph Examiner where he consistently demonstrated high work performance and received several accommodations for his expertise.
- Prior to be recruited to the FBI, Mr. Alvarez had an exceptional career as a deputy, detective, and patrol watch commander for the San Bernardino Co. Sheriff's Department for 11 years.
